We would like to extend to you a warm invitation to join the growing number of parents and young people who comprise the Sheridan Hills Christian School family. To learn more about Sheridan Hills Christian School, receive an admissions packet, schedule a tour, or sign up for the entrance exam, please call 954-966-7995, or email the Director of Admissions.

Sheridan Hills Christian School has an open admissions policy. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, ethnic origin, or sex. Qualified applicants of all races and creeds are welcome at Sheridan Hills Christian School. We have worked hard to eliminate the long waiting periods and unnecessary stress that often accompany the admissions process.

1. Familiarize yourself with our campus, faculty, and policies to ensure your student’s success. For information browse our webpage, read our admissions brochure and student handbook, contact the office with questions, and if necessary, schedule a tour of our school. Our office is open Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

2. Take the entrance exam. Testing is available by appointment on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and appointed Saturdays at 9:00 AM. The exam includes reading comprehension, mathematics, and a short answer bio. Though testing times vary, the average testing time is thirty minutes for kindergarten students, one hour and fifteen minutes for first through fifth grade students, and two hours and thirty minutes for sixth through twelfth grade students. When you arrive for the exam you should bring the following items: the $40 testing fee, your student’s latest report card or transcript, any awards or letters of recommendation your student may have received, and a completed Student Information Sheet.

3. Learn the results. Once your student has been tested, the exams are scored and then reviewed by the grade appropriate principal. The principal uses the test results along with past report cards, transcripts, awards, and letters of recommendation to make a decision. You are then notified by phone of your student’s acceptance status.

4. Enroll your student for the school year. Once you learn that your student has been accepted, you will be asked to bring in the required documents
